On the other side of the world, Opinum energy and environmental management technology has made it possible to achieve what was never done before in this country: monitoring the supply and energy management of an industrial zone via a low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) technology.

Smart meters will soon be familiar to consumers, private or professional. This also applies to water supply. In Flanders, De Watergroep, a major player in this sector, turned to Opinum to be prepared and to make informed choices.

In 2018, the Total group, via its GRP (Gas, Renewables & Power) division, embarked upon an energy consumption monitoring project for its B2B customers (companies, local authorities, care establishments, etc.). Ultimately, this project will be rolled out in all European territories where the company is active. This will bring the number of buildings monitored to several hundreds of thousands of units.

The Courant d'Air public renewable energy producer is one of the entities tackling 2030's climate and energy objectives head on.
